Focused his 25+ year career as General Manager in strategy consulting, executive recruiting and industry line responsibilities for companies such as Booz & Company, Heidrick & Struggles, BASF JV Brazil, Reckitt Benckiser, Deutsche Telekom, and others.
Delivered more than 100 growth, transformation, leadership, and innovation ecosystem projects in more than 20 countries. Recently advising companies in the design and implementation of B2B2C2C platforms, including the selection of transformational executives and leaders to drive digital scalability, digital governance and accountability, and a self-sustaining culture of creative connectivity.
From 2010 to 2016 he led the market and innovation platform project "Global Industry Transformation 2010-2030”, coordinating design and implementation of an Innovation & Growth platform B2B2C2C- Business to Communities - connecting multiple ecosystems across mobility, high tech material, low carbon and socio-political transformation value chains in China, India, Brazil, and Russia. In 2012 he co-developed the innovative CEO's Legacy platform in cooperation with the IMD business school and Dom Cabral Foundation.
He holds a PhD in Sustainability & Competitiveness in High Tech Industries from the University of St. Gallen, both an MBA and a Master of Philosophy & Business Informatics from the University of Mannheim. Has been active as Professor & Research Leader in strategy & transformational leadership - mostly industry-financed, with business schools like Cheung Kong, FDC-IMD, Insead, Skolkovo & UNMSM. Started his professional career as a Jazz saxophonist for the hotel group Hyatt in Birmingham /Alabama.
